A long distance relationship
On a farm on the west coast, the Lid family settled down in the 1930´s. The though conditions of running a farm meant that the farmer also worked as a cook on international ships. In Norwegian this was called an “Uteseglar”. Now the third generation of Lid has taken over the farm, with a new take on the long distance relationship with the farm. The new owners are based in Oslo, and during covid they planted 600 apple trees alongside raspberry fields, with a long-term plan of cider and raspberry wine production.
The identities of the two products and the Mikrosideri itself, is founded and inspired on the forms and flavours of the fruits. Also conveying old traditions meeting new methods.
